I saw...
The very first Takashi Miike movie I've seen in theatres. It was pretty entertaining. It's a western/samurai movie and all in English!

How many stars would you give it?

I wouldn't exactly recommend it for everyone. For myself, I found it to be a visually beautiful experience. There was a lot of humor, even though I seemed to be the only one laughing in the theater. I enjoy old westerns and Japanese films. (I've seen most of Akira Kurasawa's films)
I won't rate this film, just because it's not for everyone.

Ah~ I understand. ^_^
western samurai? o_O
hah, i haven't even kept up to date with Takashi in the past year. I'll make a note.

Yes. Did you know that spaghetti westerns are actually derived from early Japanese film culture? Fist Full of Dollars has the same bare bone story as Yojimbo. Magnificent Seven has the same bare bone story as Seven Samurai. It's really interesting if you watch Akira Kurasawa's work and the films he inspired.

It's really cool. Some people compare it to grindhouse, but I say it's better.
@Mcon - I liked Grindhouse.
