  • For the past three months I've been driving my Grandfather's old white 1992 Nissan Maxima GXL with automatic transmission and 160 hp VG30E engine. It has a lot of cool luxury features which are beyond it's time, but I still wish it was a SE version with the 190 hp VE30DE engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Nevertheless, it's a decent first car with an astonishingly low 68,000 KM on mileage! I'm going to drive it for a year and improve my skills before I switch over to a new car with manual transmission. So, even though I did go to them to the dealership when I was six years old to get this car, I'm going to sell it after a year. If it was an SE version I'd definitely consider keeping it for the long run and play around with some mods. But, rather than hunting one down, I think I'll get something a little newer. Third generation Nissan Maximas are VERY rare, and it's even more rare for them to be in as good condition with as low mileage as mine. Probably impossible! Every day I wish it was an SE version, but it's still decent. Although, I read that the automatic transmission isn't supposed to be too durable compared to manual.

I want to learn stick, as I am getting a little bit bored. Yes, I do waste gas when I'm bored, simply for fun.
