• Alot of homeowners have no idea what they're unloading their cash onto when they renovate their house. It's absolutely ridiculous how many times I see renos mickey moused just because they want to save a bit of money. If you have a really old house, even if its been sectionally renovated the only way to go upon it is to gut the whole thing to the bones. Redo all the insulation and seal the exterior walls. I really can't comprehend what kind of rich parents that can clearly afford to get the extra work done, would want their kids breathing in dust containing unknown substances (aspestos?) and mould. Oh, I know now. Ones that hate their kids. Good job, that'll teach 'em.

  Sure, if you're going to reno just one room or such then whatever. But if you're going to do a whole house and leave random rooms somewhat untouched, that's just disgusting. I could never live in such a place, knowing that the whole estate was done half assed.
