• Went to visit ancestrial spirits last week at cemetaries. My
  grandfather who is first generation Chinese-Canadian states that we
  have to visit before Easter so that the gates of heaven are open and
  the spirits may collect our offerings. So every year we goto the
  cemetary and I visit tombstones of my ancestors whom I have never met
  to lay down tulips and bow three times before progressing to the next.
  Most of them have past away before I was even born. Its kinda freaky
  looking at a stone my relative (Great-Aunt?) named Jessie that was born in the 1920s and died
  in the 1940s. I was middle-named Jessie after her andt she basically died at the age of 19, which
  is my current age until April 22nd when I hit 20. Never really notices at what age
  they died until reading the years again. Some died old, some young.
