This is the point of my life in which a cute little sapling twists
branches outwards from a seed into broader directions; be cautious
little sapling, danger . All right, I've got accepted to Emily Carr
Institute for the 2D Foundation program. My Father's been asking
recently if I want to continue with this electrician thing. Four years
of wholesome schooling at Emily Carr, or four years of part time
schooling at BCIT plus five years of simultanious hands on work for
electrical. If I goto Emily Carr, I'll have to pay a huge chunk of cash
per semister. If I goto BCIT, I'll get paid to attend school and make a
huge chunk of cash on the side while working. Graphic Designers create
through their dreams, Electricians create practicality at it's best.
Both have endless possibilities and a good amount of prospects;
however, the true question is which is truely able to lead to a
foundation of financial statability? Pretty damn obvious.
In the end I might just choose to continue this electrician
apprenticeship thing and
take school for culinary arts after. Either that or go into computer
electronics once I get a journeyman card. Graphics ain't doing that
great in
my book since it costs so damn much.
