Planning to give my computer a makeover in two weeks from now. Although it is a worthless piece of trash that deserves no greater reward other than being smashed into dust and fibres with a maul, it's future primary functuon will serve for entertainment including television, PS2 hook-up, and lastly an MP3 player. Currently my 'rough' specs are as followed:
Asus Motherboard
Intel Pentium III Processor - 871 MHz
384 MB SDRAM
Radeon 9000 PRO
ATi TV WONDER
"IC35L020AVER07-0" HDD - 19.1 GB/2 MB
Maxtor "91531U3" - 14.3 GB/2 MB
HP CD-Writer+ 8200 - SLOW!
YAMAHA CRW200E - RETARTED!
Standard Floppy Disk Controller
I'm not planning to go too overboard on this conversion, probably just going to drop it into an mATX case, give it a new WD 40GB/8MB HDD, and some more ram. Possibly drill some extra fan sockets with a dremel. Why not too overboard? Because I'm also planning to get an all new standard ATX desktop aswell.
