I'm physically and exhausted to the extream. Grouse Grind was a little more than I anticipated, even though I've done it twice before. Whenever I climb that lump of dirt my intuition commands me to sprint as fast as I can, which isn't much of a problem if it comes to real concrete stairways. However, when it's a friggen ugly mountain with makeshift stairs and rocks scattered all over the place, I get worn out a little more. Hopefully if I do this a little more often I will be able to do it alot faster than ever. Plus, I really shouldn't of taken breaks to enjoy the scenery and a tiny little nap. Yes, I napped for a bit soon as I got to one quarter of Grouse Grind. Hey, it seemed like a good idea at the time.
The Celebration of Light Grand Finale was pretty awesome, let alone crowded with 400,000 individuals alone at English Bay. China's music went so well with the fireworks this time. You know how many songs have a certain climax of euphoria, some songs more than others. There's always a certain point in the song which feels really sensational. The fireworks enhanced the enlightenment of the music, especially when it's synchronized on the dot. Nothing can compare to fireworks, not even a audio visualizer. Sweden did great aswell. Spain on the other hand was much of a dissappointment overall, I expected them to have a really fancy, explosive, and festive display of fire, yet they seemed to use much more calm, quiet, and slow moving shells. What a let down. Sweden won as expected, the end.
